Fater a Bruxelles tra i campioni dell’economia circolare

Brussels, April 24th, 2017. Fater Spa has been awarded as "circular economy" champion by Legambiente during the presentation of the "#circulareconomy made in Italy"  Atlas, in support of an ambitious agreement on the reform of European waste policy.

Fater Spa, represented by Eng. Marcello Somma, AHP-Recycling B.U. R&D and Business Development Associate Director, was awarded by Legambiente for the PERSONAL HYGIENE ABSORBENT PRODUCTS RECYCLING project, in the presence of the highest institutional authorities of the European Union.

The best Italian circular economy realities recognized by Legambiente in the Atlas are 107: companies, cooperatives, startups, associations, local bodies and municipalities that have already invested in a new production model and recycle secondary raw materials which previously ended up in landfills.

Particularly enthusiastic is Jyrki Katainen, Vice President of the Commission, at the view of ACE bottle caps realized thanks to the recycling process of used diapers, highlighting it as the case of a true embodiment of circular economy.
