People First: A New Model for Welfare

“To make the tools that support parenting truly work, we need a clear and well-structured strategy.”

Giulio Natali, Direttore HR - Roberta Di Brigida, Head of Talent.

The fourth episode of Parents@Fater opens with Giulio Natali, the HR Director, and Roberta Di Brigida, the Head of Talent, discussing what it truly means to prioritize people, especially those navigating parenthood.
Let’s start with a straightforward but pressing question: What does it mean to be a parent in a country where fewer babies are being born and families are becoming smaller?
For us, working with brands focused on personal and home care, this is a highly relevant issue that carries significant responsibility. This responsibility involves creating a workplace that welcomes families, supports them, and demonstrates a genuine, active commitment.

People First was created with a clear, actionable vision focused on well-being, active listening, and the freedom to balance work and life without compromise.
Our People First model is rooted in real initiatives that bring this vision to life. For example, we have extended paternity leave to three months, a benefit embraced by 70% of new fathers in our company. We also provide a €250 monthly Nursery Bonus, established through direct feedback from families, and offer coaching for new mothers to support their transition back to work after maternity leave.

Our Kids@Campus program allows parents to bring their children to the office during challenging times, so they no longer have to choose between important meetings and school closures.
These initiatives are thoughtfully designed with input from those who experience them daily. We believe that being a parent should never require sacrificing a part of oneself.
