ACE & Retake: Bringing Renewal to the Streets

When a wall is covered in hateful graffiti, the space around it stops belonging to everyone.

Daniele Giardinelli - ACE Category Director

The “Scendiamo in Piazza” (Let’s Take to the Streets) project by ACE (an organization dedicated to home cleaning and care) aims to encourage citizens to take the same care of public spaces as they do for their own homes. This initiative has launched a traveling tour that has revitalized squares and parks in over 20 Italian cities, returning these areas to the community.
The project is conducted in partnership with Retake, a civic movement that promotes urban beauty through active citizen involvement.
The goal is straightforward yet impactful: to clean, renew, and reconnect. Together with 3,000 students, volunteers, and families, we have transformed neglected areas into vibrant hubs for gathering and community engagement.

Caring for and cleaning public spaces—but also respecting diversity and standing against all forms of discrimination. This is ACE: cleanliness that unites.
Our Anti-Hate Formula is a special spray that effectively removes hateful graffiti and discriminatory messages from walls, sending a clear message: everyone deserves to feel safe in public spaces.
This commitment is also at the heart of our social awareness campaign, “ACE. Anti-Hate Formula,” which shares real stories of discrimination to raise public awareness and promote greater inclusion and respect.
By championing care as a universal act, we aim to help make cities healthier, more welcoming, and inclusive. Because the world around us reflects who we are, and choosing to care for it means choosing to grow and improve together.
